Saturday, January 23rd, marks the Winter Kickoff and Rally for A Better Oregon. Teachers, health care providers, parents and other community leaders will be sending the message that 2016 must be the year we make big changes and invest in our communities. Election Announcement Elections are coming up in March! We are forming a nominations committee and hope to have it in place by next week. We will be taking nominations through mid-February for the following AAUP-Oregon Executive Committee positions: Vice President for Political Action Vice President for Membership and Organizing Vice President for Communications and Public Relations Vice President for Collective Bargaining Treasurer Advocate for Graduate Students Advocate for Contingent Faculty If you are interested in nominating someone or running yourself for one of these positions, please let me know, Margaret@aaup-oregon.org
